Junior Volunteers

The Junior Volunteer Program is a volunteer program specifically designed for high school students. 
Each Saturday during the school year, the teenagers meet and assist the farm staff with a variety of different chores.


Some of the projects completed this year by the Junior Volunteers
  • Cleaning the animal stalls
  • Socializing the animals
  • Painting the barns
  • Presenting public programs
  • Assisting with special events including the Boo Walk, Pumpkin Pickin', Autumn Celebration
  • Working in the garden
  • Assisting in decorating the farm for Christmas and cutting the Christmas trees
  • Maintaining trails, raking leaves and helping keep the farm looking beautiful

    How to become a Junior Volunteer
    Any high school student is eligible for the Junior Volunteer program.
    New members are accepted in September following an interview process.
