Farm Camp Teacher
Muscoot Farm is looking for enthusiastic educators, naturalists, and outdoor-enthusiasts to teach at our Farm Camp. Camp operates from late June through mid-August and teachers will share their knowledge and love of the outdoors and animals with like-minded campers from grades K-8.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Caring for animals
- Delivering environmental, agricultural, and natural/human history education for children while interacting with and overseeing camp groups
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess a love of nature, a willingness to work outdoors, and the ability to communicate effectively. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven history of environmental education or research, yet all applications are welcome.
Background Clearance is required for ages 18 and older.
Hours and Salary
Farm camp teachers are hourly positions. Hours are Monday-Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.
