Celebrate Mother's Day at Muscoot Farm during its annual Sheep Shearing Day—a hands-on, educational event that highlights the shearing of the farm's sheep and the journey from fleece to fiber!
Muscoot Farm is looking for friendly, helpful volunteers to assist with event setup, welcome guests, support the wool processing station, and guide families through fun fiber crafts. Volunteers will help demonstrate simple wool prep techniques (like skirting and carding), oversee activity tables, and ensure a smooth and engaging experience for all visitors. No experience is necessary—training is provided on the day of. Come dressed for the weather and wear comfortable shoes!
